What reasons have you quit a job for?

I recently quit a job because I pretty much have no transportation and the boss that was transporting me back and forth quit last. month and new management isn't so keen on helping workers without transportation. There's like 2 or 3 of. us that don't have transportation. I asked family and they aren't able to help with it much. Plus it was costing me more in gas than actually driving was. My area bas no public transportation except one uber and a taxi which are like $35 one way. I was at the job over a year and I had a car when I First started. I've been trying to buy my sisters old. car but she's screwinng me on that deal because that car as much as I've paid on it should a! really been paid.

I worked at a convenience store when I was like 19, and my girlfriend at the time worked there too. Besides us, there was only the store manager and a little old lady who exclusively worked M-F from 6AM - 2PM.

So one night, my girlfriend calls me in tears, and she tells me she had just been robbed at gunpoint at the store. I of course hustled down there, and the cops, the store manager, and the district manager (who I had never met) were there sorting out the reports and all that. Then the guy is out back with us talking like my girl is just going to finish her shift, and she’s still hysterical from having a gun in her face like an hour ago. I’m like “buddy, I don’t think that’s going to happen.” He starts getting more assertive and tells that if she doesn’t finish the shift, then I have to. I said “UHHHHH, I think I’m going to be taking her home and getting her calmed down, I can’t stay.” He asks who’s going to man the store, I said “I don’t know and I don’t care, I just came here to pick up my girlfriend who just got robbed. Just close the store if no one can do it, it’s almost 9:30 and we close at 11 anyway. Or YOU stay and finish the shift, you’re right here already.” This asshole says something about “Close the store? What if someone needs a gallon of milk?”, and I just kind of laughed and said “Then they’ll go down the street to the 24-hour 7-11, bro…. do you want me to give you the $2.75 we’ll lose?” Then he gets all tough about it and tells us we’re both suspended if one of us doesn’t work it. I started arguing that that was ridiculous, especially for me, since I was never scheduled in the first place, you can’t suspend me for refusing to fill-in. Again, he says “what’s it going to be? Are you working or do I have to suspend you both?” And that point, I was basically like….

I said something about how he was lucky there were cops in the building and my girl needed me tonight, otherwise he’d be on his back already, and basically told him to get fucked and to have fun covering for both of us. We were leaving the job in less than a month and moving anyway, so fuck it.

I had a manager that was super sweet and caring. One day her whole mood just changed and she was firing up everyone’s ass. I was a minor at the time and she treated me like shit. I quit bc I didn’t need the job I just wanted a little extra money. It wasn’t worth me coming home from work crying because she was treating me like shit.

I realized it’s not about being tough, I wanted to stay bc I was tough but once it got to the point where I was physically sick going to work I was over it.

The place was great at first. Not a far drive and a good environment. The job was easy for me. The hours weren't bad either. Then they changed management/companies and wow. Everything went downhill fast. I left due to this. It just wasn't the same place anymore. Me and NUMEROUS others left and found new jobs.

I lefta job earlier on when I was younger due to safety concerns.
