Would you be suspicious if a coworker and a boss had taken vacation days at the same exact time three different times?

There’s been gossip at my work there may be something going on between an employee and boss. It doesn’t help within the last year they have taken vacation days at the exact same time THREE different times. They miss the same exact amount of days, and it’s never one or two days, it’s always at least three. The only reason some people are skeptical is you would think they would be smarter about not making it obvious. What would you think?

Typically, yes, but two years ago we had a manager fired for having a relationship with an employee. So my job does care what happens outside of work when it comes to people under managers.

It’s nature for people to talk and judge, like it or not. You give people something to talk about they’re gonna talk. If you don’t want coworkers gossiping about a possible relationship, don’t date your boss or don’t make it obvious. Didn’t ask if it was our business, asked for an opinion. If you don’t wanna answer the question go elsewhere genius

If it happened 3 times like you describe, yes I'd be suspicious. Especially if there is other corroborating evidence.
