Do your coworkers ever backstab you to get ahead?

No. The manager of an internal customer team tried to throw my team under the bus for something his team screwed up (the old email to every manager remotely involved scheme). It backfired nicely on him, when I used the very same email list to send out the explanation why it happened as it happened. 😂😬👏
It happened to me once back in 2012
Thank you for your the point ๐
My manager has been using my ideas and presenting them as him own for senior managers,
Thatโs awful

It's happened many times but I just smiled about it because the higher ups the bosses they know exactly who you are and when somebody tries to cheat you out of something you've done and they say they did it or if they try to make you look bad all they're really doing is making themselves look bad because in the long run it all gets found out the truth always comes out so you just got to smile and shake your head and say I don't understand why but who cares because the truth always comes out
It did happen a couple of times. But it never really went anywhere and it made them look really bad in managements eyes. Because I tend to be one of the most hardworking people at work and produce better work then the people who tried to backstab me.
Yes I haveโ. Usually they are trying to prove how great they are. When they really are not as great as they think they are!
Ever hear the saying? If you could buy them for what they are actually worth and sell them for whatever they think they are worth. You would be a millionaire!
I cannot express how badly backstabbed I was. It ended my career.
I've only ever backstabbed someone who was just shanking the rest of the crew and using me as a stepping stone to get buddy buddy with our lead.
Yea it's happened before, it's why I stopped making friends at work and decided to just separate friends and work
No, I'm always well liked by others at work. Supervisors are usually and hopefully smarter then their employees and can see through their bullshit.
In my personal experiences I have always been a private person but I have seen that done to others but the ones who do the back stabbing tend to get demoted due to the fact that there is no "I" in team
Yes, and no. I have a civilian and a military job. In the civilian setting, it just happened a few weeks ago (I was thrown under the bus with false accusations of not working well). In the military, this is not a factor.
Yes all the time. This is why I always chat with my boss day to day on what I worked on and give weekly status updates.
They won't dare it :D
I'm too competent, and I'm too supportive (to everyone's benefit).
I've had coworkers do this in the past. I austenitic was the target if a smear campaign to management from several of them that I was unaware of for quite some time
Yes i just had this happen yesterday and today that fraud is getting exposed
I had a boss that totally screwed me over. Then he left for a new job
I have once worked in such place, never sgain. That job lasted me 1-2 days.
Not at my current job, they are too scared of me haha
If I fucked up they would when at work i don't fuck up.
Always yes. 😿
It happens to the best of us.
For sure. There's quite a lot of selfish people.
