What’s considered as night hours when it comes to learning how to drive?

I need 10 hours of night driving but I don’t know what that time frame is. Is it different depending on the state? I looked it up and that was no help.

Anything after dark. The point is that you perceive your surroundings very differently at night, especially with headlights coming in your direction. It can even effect response time. That’s important practice.

Sunset forward is what I was told YEARS ago. May have changed...

it means driving while it is DARK out... some place are light-out until 10pm... others are dark at 5pm

I would say night hours can be any time that it's dark out. You must use your headlights.
