So I've recently been diagnosed with bpd on top of my autism. But while that happened, I kept losing jobs for different reasons (better jobs turning out to be sh*t or employers deciding they don't want agency staff, which I am) I have tried really hard to fit in everywhere I went but just couldn't. I have just started a job a week ago and I absolutely HATE it. I'm incredibly lonely there as everyone I talk to thinks I'm weird in a bad way or too pessimistic. I'm having a hard time keeping up with every responsibility I have as well as going to jobs I resent and am unable to get permanent work but no one tells me why. I've had this going on for MONTHS. I am so soul sick. Would you quit your job and try to figure out your mental health or would you soldier on?
Superb Opinion
Considering I don't have a proper job due to mental health reasons of course I would. I only do 6 hours of charity volunteer stuff a week. Because I get drained and tired easy.
Are you getting help for your autism? And bpd?
Most Helpful Opinions
No. If you quit your job, the lack of income and too much idle time could be sources of stress that greatly complicate your mental health. If you can, continue working and get help to learn how to cope with the BPD.

Much better to see the warning signs and get help while still earning money and getting on with your life.
Check if your health insurance or employer has a disability program first
