Do I pursue a career in nursing or leave it to rest?

so I've been a certified nursing assistant since 17' I got my license through high school. I have been working in nursing homes up till the past 3 months, I got a new job at the hospital. I enjoy it, some of the nurses can be short but I always make sure to stand up for myself and take the time I need. I've made a few mistakes as to nursing, one I gave ice cream to a all liquid diet patient. I honestly thought ice cream was okay, but now I know. I normally work NOC shifts and only given like 2 showers. So here's the story, a patient had a telemetry box on and they were connected to IVs for antibiotics. She wanted to shower and I had no clue they couldn't shower with connected to IVs. I'm 25 and there's nurses my age that work there. I took off the telemetry box and went out of the room and the nurse ask what she wanted and I said she's going to shower. The nurse said "Don't let her shower connected to those IVs" and I stood there in shock at how she talked to me and she told me to go in and tell her to wait till her IVs were done. I went back out and she apologized for how she told me and I told her it was a bit rude how she spoke to me. I knew we had to wrap the IV also because I helped with a shower with the nurse one time. I only got 4 days of training at the most because I caught on quick due to past experience working in Healthcare. I honestly had no clue and I wanted to go into nursing but I don't know if it's my niche. I love helping others but I went home and cried because I feel so stupid. And I know people make mistakes. I got employee of the month 2 months after being there and it just seems like after I got it I've been making mistakes. I feel like there's something wrong with me, like I lack intellegience or I have a low IQ.

there's nurses my age, and I feel like they are smart and im legit dumb.
