Is compass group a no rehire company?

I started working for them in 2018 and I remember in orientation they said they were a no rehire company; however I saw people leave without notice and be allowed back months or years later. Supposedly one of my managers was fired in 2007 (but before the hospital we work at was taken over by compass) and she’s now a boss. So
I was just wondering if they’re bluffing or if maybe I’m misremembering.

I think if you left on reasonable terms they always make an exception.

Even if that person left without notice? I saw that at least three different times and they would be welcomed back

Yeah , well there you go , that person didn't even follow procedure at all , they took him back.
