How to job hunting without your employer knowing?

I am looking for a new job and applied to few places, but my employer doesn't know yet I am leaving I think.

I am waiting to have a job lined up and then hand in my notice.

I make sure i use a different email address and do not conduct the job search while I am at work. sometimes I went outside and sat in my car and talked to somebody about a job.

That's fine. They can't fire you for looking for a new job. Just don't mention it to avoid any awkward interactions I'd say.

Just look around and apply. Lately, not all employers will call your current job to see if you do work there. Don't tell anyone at work that you're looking. What harm is there if they know?

Use your phone to search not the company computer. Or on your days off

Answer it in private or let it go to voice mail and call them back when you are private.. most good companies will leave you a message to call them back
