Any advice for job hunting?

I’ve got plenty to help me in the interview stage but there’s not much to help me get there just yet. Any advice?

What sort of job are you looking for?

The first step is to really get yourself out there - you want employers/companies to find you so make it as easy as possible. Start off with a perfect resume, it's worth a few dollars to get an expert to help you perfect this as a starting point and also set-up a linkedin profile if you haven't done so. If it's a trade, set-up an instagram account for when they look you up. I have a few more tips if you need, been through all this and it has worked very well

Job market is an absolute nightmare right now , just keep applying and pray something bites , I have applied to over 600 jobs and it’s been so stressful and overwhelming, trying to land a decent paying job , I have never experienced anything like this in my lifetime , job market is a complete joke

Answer specifically how you either have experience with what they're searching g, or how you can relate former experience into something they're searching.

You don't need to be able to do 100% of what they write on the list.

But don't lie about what you can or have experience with.

Make sure to update your LinkedIn as well, they might look you up there as well.

Well besides what some other people here have already said about networking, i'll also suggest persistence. just continue to apply, apply and apply until you get something. make getting a job your job. that would really be my only advice. you may get a bunch of no's. but what matters is when you get that one yes.

To be frank the job market wherever you are is probably trash right now. To make things worse, around 30% of postings are allegedly "ghost jobs" companies make for fake or filled positions because they wanna guage how the market is. Unless you have the lucky insider connection, I would just say go loco and do LOTS of easy applications to relevant positions--numbers game.

Just apply apply apply. Everyday try to apply to at least 5 to 10 jobs. That's what I am doing now and what I did before and eventually got the job I wanted. Also, network as much as possible.

Choose jobs that you like so that you are knowledgeable of the job somewhat. Put in applications everywhere even if they are not hiring at the moment. I have gotten a few jobs from companies not hiring yet. At least they were not hiring until I put in the application.

Curious as to what line of work you are in. I have been unemployed for 3 months now, submitting over a hundred applications with no legitimate interviews. I am a fullstack developer.

I don't think I would be any help whatsoever. The last time I interviewed for a job The twin towers were still standing. My former students and children and nieces and nephews has said that indeed is almost essential.
