I messed up a little on my task but I had an explanation to why there was a bunch of miscommunication. Anyways my manager gets on a call with me and my team lead and the whole time she starts yelling at me and cursing at me (I work remotely) so I just stayed muted I didn’t even say anything back because no matter what I said she didn’t care and continued. I’m very sensitive so I was crying the whole time during the call being yelled at spikes up my anxiety. Anyways fast forward to a few days later I get on a call with her to tell her I am very appreciative for everything she has done for me but I do want to leave the project. She goes “are you leaving because of the recent incident or what’s your real reasoning?” And I told her it’s because I don’t feel comfortable performing that task anymore since it was a messy situation. And my manager goes “well if you roll of am I going to tell the next person who tries to roll you onto another project that you couldn’t perform this task?” I felt absolutely worse after the call receiving no support from her and feeling as if she is being passive aggressive, I also never received an apology from her. I need to get off this project asap but I can’t for another few weeks due to contract reasoning. What should I do?

You need to get out quickly otherwise it's only going to keep getting worse and being an impact on your mental health.
Is there really no way at all to get out of the contract immediately?
