How would you feel if these comments were made to you after an interview for a job?

So my advisor who helps me look for work also, copied and pasted his colleagues comments from the employer and said I came across really well etc and I was suitable for the role but couldn't explain my small gaps in my work history

At the end of the email it said " they are looking for someone motivated and ambitious" therefore she's unsuccessful

How would that make you feel?

Horrible. What they mean is consistency and a drive toward success. A work history gap that is unexplainable is a 🚩 to and employer. Why the gap ⁉️

But do you think he was meant to include that part about they're looking for ambitious and motivated individuals? It's really knocked my confidence

There was a huge change in management and my role at the company. The gap is only 6 months

It sounds like they were looking for a reason. It sounds like they are going through the process and there’s already an inside hire ⁉️
