Has anyone at your job ever expected too much?

back in 2019 i was laid off at my seasonal job.
i took a job at Modell's Sporting Goods store that soon went into bankruptcy affter i left the job

i was in the shoe area when a dad asked me to measure his daughters feet for shoes her dad was not nice to when i measureing her feet i told him i never did this before he was just like i will do it myself then.

i wanted to say look dude i'm only making 11 an hour i'm not getting many hours & i only took this job so i dont not have to go on unemplyment.

the guy was expected too much

I worked in a place where I was forced to take over a department that I had no background in running. The reason was that there was nobody else that could do it. From day one I really had no clue what I was supposed to be doing.

I ran the A/V department.

No, I had no training in A/V. i was told i could hire a technician and it was a lie. The whole thing was a horror show.

You should expect more from yourself. It doesn't matter if it's a part time retail sales job it's still important to try hard and do your best.

That does make it difficult
