Have you ever face a situation like this at work?

The thing is I only understand English. Everyone I knew at work were considered bilinguals. The Chinese being able to speak English and Mandarin, same thing for the Filipinos. It’s not easy being a Chinese as I’m expected to understand both English and Mandarin. Mandarin is super hard. It can take decades to be good at it but English is easier than Mandarin. I know my English language is not perfect but my mandarin is way worse. I considered my English language a 5 or 6 out of 10 while my mandarin a 3 out of 10.

I knew how bad my mandarin was when I tried watching the news in mandarin and I realised I didn’t understand a single thing what it’s talking about but when I watched the English news I can understand like 70% of it. I’m planning to improve both my French and English language to a 8/10.
