Just look at this video where Barista complains of working 25 hrs/week. And we see more and more young adults complain of lack of pay and wanting to work at home.
they have no freaking clue and are going to be hurting when they get older and possibly decide to have a family to support.
I do 24hrs, often 48 hr. shifts and have done 96 hours shifts.
My record, oh joy, was 63 days in a row without a day off, so let me get him a tissue, because he won't get any sympathy from me or anyone else who has to work for a living.

They need to face real challenges. I used to envy the rich kids that had everything handed to them but I see now that those hard experiences I had helped me cope when I got older

one kid... behind one counter
that one kid does not represent an entire generation
I do have two nieces that have not graduated high-school yet... and they've already started their own little businesses lmao, they're already making "their own money" and managing it (with the proper guidance of course)
so yes, if you think this kid behind the counter represents all younger generations... then maybe focus on the other kids who are doing great for themselves and problem solved? "younger generations are incredibly smart" Some of them certainly are. There are a lot of "snowflakes" who have been coddled their whole lives by mommy and daddy, given everything and when things don't go their way or their boss says no or corrects them for a mistake, they can't handle it. My parents taught me that if I want to accomplish things in life, I need to work for them, nothing is given, and I'm proud of where I am in life and will continue to work hard to succeed.
Bless. He just needs to feel supported and by the sound of it his bosses are not helping
A few years ago it was the boomers lamenting the attitudes of the millennials. Now it seems millennials lamenting genz.
I hear there is a lot of mental health issues in the young. Covid and the educational system has not helped.
I think many are just finally facing reality; it's a cultural shock. They aren't taught how to deal with the situation; thus, it makes sense they breakdown.
