I mean, does your ability to create an initial friendly rapport with your interviewers pay off in that you usually get a job offer from them? Or do extraverts have the same agony of job interviews as introverts do? I always assume I didn't get the job against an extravert who was slightly less qualified than me, but their warmth and charisma made the interviewers like them more despite their lesser qualifications.
I can only hire extraverts... I do need go-getters for the particular field we do but also smart ones that can measure themselves around the people we work with
so yes, experience and skill in social situations that vary are a must, most introverts tend to avoid these kind of situations, so... I guess it depends on what you actually are looking for, lol
introverts tend to socialize in different ways with people, the less overwhelming and the less annoying the best for them... but around here there's a lot of chit-chat and back and forth, and that alone can be draining for me, not an introvert but that's competitive business in certain fields

Yes, Because Introverts always got a problem when it comes to dealing with direct pressure.
An interview is extremely direct and to high extent judgmental which usually makes anyone fearful and nervous and this is introverts weakest point.
They usually thrive in individual tasks that gives them the freedom to reflect and make mistakes that they can learn from.
But an interviewer doesn’t consider this as a liability thus giving the upper hand for extroverts.
Side Note: Did you know that taller men would most likely succeed on an interview because of their height!
im not an introvert so I don't know how they feel but being an extrovert doesn't make you necessarily more confident, but being better communicator, charismatic, more open and more aware of your surroundings are better qualifications that introvert usually lack, but it depends on a job
I think so but actually even as an introvert, I think you can pull of interviews cause the key is confidence and introverts can be confident too

Extraverts tend to have it easier, because business is about reaching people and convince them. Something introverts, lack. Problem is, extraverts don't tend to have the insight of an introvert. Is not like businesses care. They want obedience, and they want you to convince others about "how good they are."
Yes but that's step one. Step two is a two sentence answer that gives me a visual and answers the question. From my visual, I dig down deeper. If there is no vision in my head from your response then there is no exploration into your skill sets AND
NO Offer Letter...
There is definitely an interview technique, if you seem confident it can be seen as competence.
Having a good rapport with the interviewer helps but I don't think extroverts have any extra benefit compared to introverts.
Confidence does matter while giving an interview but skill, education and experience also matters and if the extrovert person lacks in these areas then chances are not very bright of getting the job
Poor communication skills have fucked up a lot of things for a lot of people. Job offers, family ties, relationships, sales, etc.
That's not necessarily true. Introverts also have their plus side, as they come off as more mature.
not if an introvert is conducting the interview
depends on the astuteness of the interviewer and the job requirements.
No idea, I'm an introvert.
