Yes. It shows an inattentiveness and disregard for language. People who mis-spell are the same ones who say, “You know what I mean!” when their atrocious grammar is pointed out. This unwillingness to attempt to meet standards dumbs down language, making it less sophisticated and nuanced.
“You know what I mean!”
Eventually people will revert to grunts, pointing, and emojis to communicate.
I think you meant to use "if I were..." ;-)
But yeah, I am also a stickler for correct language (s). If I learned English as a foreigner, why can't native speakers write at least on my level? I also hate ghetto ("Yo, Holmes...") or mobile text babble (you = u). To me, using correct spelling and grammar is a sign of respect for the persons having to read it.

Spelling mistakes annoy the hell out of me, but I occasionally fall prey to them myself.
Grammatical mistakes hit me even harder, even though I am not well versed in grammatical structure.
I just know and am aggravated when a sentence or paragraph makes no sense.
I write off a potential boyfriend if their initial texts have spelling mistakes, but other than that I don't really care. I mean, why would a guy think he can afford to spell stuff wrong in the initial stages? Is he trying to test how desperate I am or something?
I often find them to be funny

Also: Chinese ''user manuals'' are outright hilarious.
I do notice errors, and I try to avoid them on my own side, unless it is to inject some humour.
(Oops: the American spell check tells me just now that I typed ''humour'' the wrong way... does that ring a bell?)
But to lecture others would get me close to being a Karen. Who needs THAT?
They make… me… absolutely
laugh 😂👏👏
I mean, hearing president bush and his wrong word choice, or word slurs, cracked me up. Texting guys who would mess up their words would also crack me up, and be slightly adorable.
Anyone who falls “victim” to the autocorrect makes me laugh-
because relatable. 🙅♀️
When I see it in public and laugh, thinking, someone was either really lazy or having a rough day, lol
Human Imperfection at it’s finest. 🤓👌
I like the sign. Here's some more to irritate people.

Thank you. I aim to please.
An occasional spelling error is okay, I live with it. But repeated spelling and grammar errors get me upset.
I guess you better prak someplace else. It does when I see it, I assume sometimes it could be auto-correct. My spelling can be bad at times so I try to spell-check things I post.
Yes to no end. Spelling mistakes and make no mistake about it, stupid autocorrect can really botch up a response.
Yes, I won't like a post if it’s spelled wrong 🙈 it gives me anxiety. I understand not everyone is literate, I’d never comment on it I’d just keep scrolling.
Spelling mistakes in books or in business correspondence annoy me. On this site, no. There is no edit function, so add in the small screen and the informal nature and mistakes should be expected.
There was a study that suggests that people who are more annoyed by spelling mistakes tend to be more introverted and those who don't mind then tend to be more extroverted. That being said, I'm definitely more introverted.
Them*
P. S. I also hate autocorrect
No, I find people who find spelling mistakes annoying though.
Just imagine you accidentally made a typo and apparently as a result you pissed someone off because of it.
That's unruly and ridiculous.
Some National Geographic scientists said the normal person's brain won't even notice them. I'm not talking about using the wrong form of "their" and "they're" but accidetnaly filpping a letter every once in a while
LOL you can park there just not prake there.
To that magnitude. Yes it does. Small errors. Not as much.
Yes, I assign a termpaper in some of the courses I teach. It really annoys me especially since they can use spell check.
They really bother me and I am careful to not make any.
No it doesn’t annoy me, because I know humans are prone to mistakes, because even I do it sometimes, and sometimes I don’t realize immediately
No, I don't. Only losers sit behind a computer screen and play grammar police.
No, they just amuse me.
not really , but that's because I can't spell for heck lol
Only if I see them on a consistent basis. I always do my best to correct mine.
Only my own. The rest I find hilarious.
No, they're hilarious
I might but I fine it more funny instead.
They do sometimes
@DryGermanGuy corrected you, already.
No, I'm more annoyed by foul language.
Yes, they annoy me.
