I enjoy my job as a Registered Behavioral Therapist, but I put "it's okay", it's not that I love it, and it's not my dream job, but it has a lot of benefits.
Pros:
1. The work is interesting and teaches me about people's behaviors, motivations, and psychology, which I enjoy applying to my personal life as well as at work.
2. I work overnight shifts, during which I can study or nap, which is optimal while I go to nursing school full time as well.
3. There is plenty of good food at work, I can also do my laundry, so there are two things that I don't have to incur additional cost or spend time doing outside of work. Sometimes I only eat at work, and wait until my next shift to eat again, which works really well for the 'intermittent fasting' type diet.
4. The pay is great, with lots of opportunities for overtime whenever I want it. We are totally understaffed, so I can always have a double shift. Two double shifts pays as much (a little more, even) as 5 regular shifts. Also benefits.
Cons:
1. Sometimes my clients are violent and will bite or punch or otherwise injure me. It's dangerous and I've been injured. Also, they can try to injure themselves and it's my duty to prevent them from doing so, so I can't really keep myself out of danger without endangering them.
2. Being understaffed means things can be a little stressful and overwhelming at times. But that's pretty much only when I work a double. Overnight shifts are mostly chill.
So many good things. Closd to my house 10min drive,20 bike ride. work 40 hours, paid 45.15 hours. Not a lot of work past few years. But then it's unorganized, messy, the guy I work with stresses me out , makes my job a lot more complex then it should be. Sometimes I lift way too much , so my back can get injured. Well I'm working on getting out of here. I can not wait to leave. I'll get paid more, work more. But it will be worth it in the end. Ill be able to advance in my life. Pay off my home in a couple of years. And have more financial freedom.

Yes, I love it and I'm very grateful for it. I'm an ESL (English) teacher in South Korea and I make about $37,00 a year teaching sometimes as little as two hours a day. At maximum, I teach six hours a day (on Wednesdays; I hate Wednesdays here) and I don't have to be into work until 1pm.
Since I'm an American in South Korea, the academy pays for my housing and I don't pay any actual rent. I usually have about $1,500 in disposable income (the money leftover after taxes, groceries, and bills) every month, and if I weren't working on weight loss and dental surgery, would be saving that up every single month. I had $11,000 saved up before my weight loss, gastric sleeve surgery in August.
So although I hated teachers growing up and still remember how much I disliked high school, I am in fact a teacher right now. Just not an underpaid, woke American teacher. It's still not my dream job, but for now, I'm very grateful to be here. I had to work two sh*ttier jobs in 2020 and 2021 before I got this one; the last one being at a worse branch of the same franchise in another city before I got fired/transferred here.
I like my job... for now. Ask me again in 6-12 months.
I'm an Assistant Coordinator for the Family Medicine Residency program at a hospital in my area.
To paraphrase: I babysit the Program Director, residents, and some of the faculty. I keep them organized, happy, and relatively sane-
... send prayers and help 🤣
But no, it's an interesting and rewarding job. The pay could be better, but I'm comfortable. Good coworkers. My own office with windows, and a good boss that doesn't micromanage. Plus it's a State job, so I get all holidays off and decent benefits- hence why I'm not complaining about the pay too much.
I went from working with non-clinical and nursing staff, to therapists, and now I work with physicians. So I can honestly say I've moved up the healthcare ladder.
Currently Iām a server. I donāt hate it, mostly because of my coworkers/friends, theyāre awesome and make the job a lot more tolerable. Iām about to finish school to go into sonography and I just love it so much! As with anything in medicine itās never going to be āboringā thereās always going to be something different and you never know what to expect. Definitely glad I chose this over nursing. 😅 I only have to see one patient at a time and Iām terrified of the thought of poking a patient with a needle, also was terrified of the possibility of me messing up a patientās medication or something.
I like it. Wouldnāt say I love it but thatās cause of fellow co-workers. Some who are lazy, hide out, donāt take care of their patients. I think co-workers stress me out more than the patients. Not only that Iām like 1 of maybe 4 men who work on a female dominated field, so when someone comes up like a patient getting out of control, or falls out of bed, they always call me. Itās irritating. Isnāt it 2022, weāre all supposed to be able to do the same thing correct. But if I speak up which I have before, then Iām an asshole or a jerk for expressing my concerns about always being called to do the heavy shit.
Iām an entrepreneur. Unless one has rich relatives, the entrepreneur starts out with no pay and then low pay. If it works out there is the chance of getting rich. Never would have taken the risk until getting laid off multiple times despite a strong performance record. I never want to go back to corporate again.
I chose C. I don't hate my job, but I don't love it. It's not bad and I like it and I'm happy to have it. I'm an Executive Assistant.
Yes, my job is okay. I work in a factory and we produce laundry bags for hospitals and the care industry. The laundry bags we produce dissolve in water, so there is no waste. The other type we produce are biodegradable. I have to work twelve hour shifts from 6am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and get Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. But when you have a bad day they seem to be long shifts. I have worked there now for nearly 23 years.
I'm a full time uni student, I do part time/temporary work as a teaching assistant. I haven't worked in a while because I choose my own timings and I only have 1 full day free but when I last did it during the summer, the money was really good, work was interesting enough but tiring doing 9am-3pm every weekday
Hate it, probably more cause of the people I'm working with and like when you're new to the office, others have to give your their clients and mostly they give you the shitty ones and so you don't really have fun.
But it's paying the bills and I did quit this Job.
And right now it's hard for me to translate but I'm basically being an accountant for bigger companies and doing the tax reports of others and of companies.
My career has been as a Systems Engineer in the Rail Transportation industry, and I love it.
I have gotten to travel to places around the world, use a combination of proven and new technology, and have built and maintained systems that help millions of people get safely to/from home, work, and school every day.
I did Love my job. Pity I don't work there anymore but then again one of my ex co-workers blamed me for something I didn't do and was very rude to me which got me fired so I'm happy I'm not working with her anymore but I am missing working with the kids.
I make little to no difference in the lives of the people I work with or for in my current job. I am doing two full time jobs every weekday in order to get to a better job where I can make all the difference in student's worlds.
I love my job! I get to explore new ideas, experiment with new technologies and produce something that has a potential of enhancing people's lives!
It's only redeeming quality are the great people I work with versus the pols and fools I work for in public service.
I like how much it generates but the job itself is often quite stressful. Still because of the nature of it I do get to meet quite a few famous people that I could name drop on here. Legal services is the job.
Security. It's... i wish it wasn't in this town but it's money. We basically do whatever walmart says. :1
I say that I hate it all the time, lmao.
But only one part of it. I love the culture, opportunities, and family.
