If you didn't need the money, would you choose to work?

I would still work , maybe 2 days a week, doing something i love. Because what people don't realize is that chronic "not doing anything" eventually leads to a lack of purpose in life. At first, it may seem fun that you get to rest and not do anything but over many years, you will feel like you're drifting aimlessly with absolutely no purpose in life. This will eventually lead to depression. This won't account for everyone but it will account for most people. Believe it or not, our jobs provide us a purpose in life and serves as part of our identity.
Every time i do nothing for more than 3 months at a time, I get so severely depressed and bored.
Well that's the goal for me anyways. To have enough money TO STILL work. Sure, I don't need to but that's the point. I'm doing it to get out of the house or sum... or exhibit how cute my panties are in public. Also probably get to use super rich bathrooms and have snacks on the job.
Yes. I'd feel useless if I didn't work all day long. I think most productive men ins society would. I'd own my own company and then spend two hours a day kickboxing after that (at night, since most gyms around here are terrible for working hours). I think, many women, if not most of 'em, would do nothing all day and not choose to work. That's why so many idolize Kim Kardashian.
Hell yeah I would. Work is how I keep my sanity. I love the line of work I'm in and there's always new stuff going on. It gets boring at times (like literally any other job), but the majority of the time I'm really motivated to get up and go to work every day.

Yes!!! So good for my head since my thoughts and internal demons like to always try and run the show. I take pride in having integrity, and get moving everyday. I would probably take the same schedule I have now.
I would become my own boss but I would work. And it really a matter of if I need the money now or might need them in the future. I would need to be set for life before counting myself to not need money.
Depends largely on how you define not needing the money. Like if I could get by without work for a year no I'd keep working. If you have enough money tends to look after itself but I would still work at something.
Yes. While obviously I work in order to have money to pay for things, I enjoy my workso much that I would still work even if I won the lottery. Maybe I wouldn't work so much, but I would still gladly work.
Work? Let's say I'd be doing artistic stuff. See where I can shine. Also open up my own clothing brand. I mean damn, the clothing world is a big mess right now. Can hardly find anything stylish and fitting and with pockets. Game designers can come up with better clothing than 90% of clothing brands out there.
For sure I will
I work more becouse I enjoy it then the money it self, and honestly earning much less then I could just becouse wanted a job I enjoy more
Yes, Because working is much more than money for me. It keeps me active, knowledgeable, and up to date in the field I am working.
That is good enough for me.
I'd do something, but doesn' thave to be a stress filled job. volunteer, and do what I want. heck, I'm doing that now... lol
Yeah if you stop working and/or learning, you start dying
I know multi-millionaires who still work
Hell my antique dealer stopped working just 2 weeks before she died at 89 and her net worth was £70M
I don't work, I day trade for Forex currency as my own boss and you can never have enough money.

Yes. I would do something. As much as more time with kids would be good but I would need some adult interaction (and to be honest some time away from kids).
yes because i like having a purpose and think it would be pretty boring to just sit around or travel all the time
Yes, if it's a job I love doing. Drumming in a band, voice acting, stand-up, working in a print shop. As long as it's something fun that I like doing.
Nope. I might have some labors of love, but i would likely never do something that i didn’t want to do again.
I like to do volunteer work and would continue to do that, but I wouldn't take a paid job.
*paying
Yep. I currently do volunteer work as it gets me out of the house.
Yeah, I would work as a party planner or fashion designer
Inwould but it would be something I am passionate about. I don't know what that would be. Otherwise I would just use it to study languages or travel.
No, I'd definitely work on things (goals and hobbies) but I wouldn't work a job
No, I would pursue intellectual interests and would coach sports
Yes, i want to become a teacher and that's not a job you do for the money. You do it for the satisfaction of the job. So I'd still work.
Yes, I plan on still teaching a few computer science courses when and if I retire.
Even a golden cage is is still a cage.
No matter how much money I have, I need something to do all week.
Maybe more along the lines of philanthropy than actual work but yes I'll somewhat work.
Yeah, because I'd still like to talk to people sometimes
Yes, but it would be giving surfing and music lessons.
Yes, but Id find a job in a field that really appeals to me.
I have to. Even when I retire after I turn 50, I will work a part time job of some sort for the fuck of it. I can't not have a job.
Yes, but only work a job I'm really passionate about.
people have the sense that work is grinding. i'm not about that. i make my money work for me. i think that's what you're meaning
I'd still work but donate all my time to charity and depending on how much money we're talking about spread some of my wealth around to people who are in need.
Yeah even a few days a week. To keep my from getting mentally bored and depressed.
I'd choose a job that I'd be really interested in so I'd be mentally active.
Yes, I would cause its needed to keep the mind fresh and get more knowledge
yes... I would work on giving back the money, and I would not call it work
I would keep working but in a different capacity.
My free time is everything to me. So I wouldn't work if I had more than enough money to not work for the rest of my life.
I already don't work
Mothering three dose not count as not working.. 😏🤔
Lol! It’s true. You would think that with all of the weird social systems around today that there would be something better for mothers.
😂😂 there you go!
Yes, of course, but I'd go about it very differently.
I'd still continue working. I might hire someone so I don't have to work so hard.
yes i would go crazy if i didn't
Define work. I don't need the money right now. But I still earn it. But I don't consider what I do "work".
Probably not. I'd cultivate my hobbies.
Yes. And I’d probably still put in just as many hours. Just doing something that I really like doing instead.
Absolutely not. I would spend my life doing things I want to do. Writing code is not one of them.
Obviously not I would pursue all the stuff that I always wanted to do!
Yeah but definitely part time
Yes. It’s good to keep motivated.
Yep. I like what I do.
Absolutely. I'd be a teacher.
Yeap, just in a different profession
Yes, I like to keep myself busy.
Absolutely not. I’d volunteer and go to school.
Yep I won't! I'd rather go on vacation. Have sex and travel.
Ofc.. for skill and socialize for sure
no; shit's depressing
I always need the money
@bean2k21 don't self project onto me boy. You can see how you live by the video you accidentally posted of your city "Flat Foot dancing" and it defenitley wasn't pleasant at all.
I feel sorry for you I would evennstart a gofundme for you no human should ever have to live like that and actually live around people who look like the hills have eyes.
@Feuntes Hey, don't knock it until you've tried it, and stop believing the hype about freedom and equality over their in the Woke-aVerse. There's a reason why so many of our people never left the plantation. Good fucking watermelons and friend chicken. So what if I have to flatfoot -- hell it's fresh air and free pork-n-beans.
@Fuentes I'm trying to help you, you fool. You're clearly an angry, low-class douche bag. I think you could find inner peace if you realize the reason why no one like you is because of a planned political maneuver on the part of the Southern victors. It's all water under the bridge now. And if you could learn to be nice and do something useful for society then one day you'll be accepted like the gays are.
You bet your sweet bippy I would
No I'd be living life
No cause I'm probably a lazy girl
