I don't study anymore I stopped doing it in 2016, my problem is that in my studies I don't understand anything I can't remember anything I forget everything, the most I can achieve is memorize but what I can memorize is very limited, I always I have had this problem of not understanding anything they explain to me and forgetting everything, this cost me the dismissal from a company.

They had sent me to learn some theoretical concepts and I could not understand them.

I tried to memorize them but I forgot parts of them.

Hmm oki so in my opinion, no its not uncommon to not study however, when people lacked the interest in studying they don't learn properly or as much as they could. It could also be a case where u learn different from others hence why learning one way maybe boring, and you can't get yourself to study long enough to understand. For example I'm a visual learner so just putting words infront of me is not gonna get me to understand fully what's happening but I can watch a video about the same topic and explain what happened etc. Memorizing information can be harder for some than most but tbh you have to find a determination in wanting to learn whatever it is doesn't have to be all at once but piece by piece you know.

You might have a learning disability. There are specialists that can really help. I used to work at a college that had an exceptional program for this. We had a few students that worked as interns in the IT department and they went on to graduate and get good jobs in IT.
