Is it normal to hate studying?

Lots of educated people out there which makes me wonder, is it normal to dislike studying and if yes then why do so many people pursue very high levels of education?

For me, it depended on which class I was studying for. Some classes I HATED and really hated studying for them. Other classes I loved, and studying for them wasn't bad.

Although, even if I liked the class, there were days that I just didn't want to study at all!

But, I still graduated and got my degree and I have the job I've always dreamed of! As much as you hate studying, you just have to put your head down and get through it.

Is nursing hard? I'm not sure what the qualifications required are but I am assuming that it's probably a lot of science classes

It depends on your area of specialty. Some areas are more difficult than others.

As for school, that also depends on what nursing program you attend. Some are harder than others. Some require more science related classes to get in to the program.

But in nursing school, the classes focus a lot on science like anatomy, some physiology, medications, and ethics courses also.

A lot of people hate studying because they prefer physical work to intellectual work - I have mostly been okay with it cause my parents has drilled academics into my brain ever since I was in pre school so I was used to academic work but I was not allowed to play sports cause my parents were worried I would suffer a brain injury so at my current age, exercise seems awkward and unnatural and alienating to me

People pursue higher levels of education to have a fulfilling career because it's pretty much required at this point. That being said, it's pretty normal to dislike studying.

I never liked studying. Despite that, I made it through grad school.

If you have to study the lessons you don't like it's normal, otherwise no. I am one of those people who have a nervous breakdown while studying.

That depends on if you enjoy what you are studying. I only hated studying math and science.
