YES! But it wasn’t in a store, it was on the side of the road with a police officer who pulled me over for “not” wearing my seatbelt! I have a dash-cam the records out of my front windshield, my rear window, and inside my Jeep! I knew that it would show that I was wearing my seatbelt as I ALWAYS wear it! But he refused to even LOOK at the screen to see the video of me passing him, him getting behind me, and him pulling me over, ALL while I was wearing my seatbelt. Although I cooperated with him and remained polite at all times, I requested a supervisor (manager), and SHE gladly watched the video, which clearly showed EXACTLY what I described above, and that I WAS wearing my seatbelt at ALL times! He even lied to her and told her that he WATCHED me put my seatbelt on, after i stopped! To which she replied, “good, then the video will show that” needless to say, she requested the ticket back from me, gave me her card, and told me to call her personally if I got a notice to appear in the mail… I did not.
Yes, I have. One time because some boy let me walk in with a backpack into the movies, then a girl who took over said no. I was pissed and still upset the n*gga wasted my time by not telling me at the beginning. But he had those eyes of "I don't give a fuuuu"
But lemme tell you this good one. Went to work, needed a hotel. I gave my credit card and the dude said it was no money in it. There was money, what the f- so I went on to work while they tried to charge me. This dumbass white guy called me saying I gotta come back immediately because it wasn't working and I probably have to find somewhere else. I come back at 12ish AM and my key won't work- they tried to kick me out. I called for the boss and she let me stay until morning. I was about to professionally cuss these people out but OMG THE MANAGER WAS ABLE TO GET IT RIGHT?
What was the problem? Dumbass "Brian" (asshoooole) was charging a card that was on his computer that wasn't supposed to be charged in the first place because it's fake. So he was charging that one instead of the shit in my funkin' hand. :)...
I have. It's never just to bitch or get something free. Everyone can do better, including me at whatever I try. I give a lot of leeway. But if something is below the bottom end of my leeway, I'll tell someone about it. Politely. Quietly. Away from others. It's not an attack or an accusation, just an opportunity to improve. I'm also one of the people who will write letters to CEOs of companies to tell them what their people are doing right (or, again, if there's room for improvement). In almost every case I get a reply and in some cases I've made change.
Complaints can be a really useful tool if wielded the right way and not as a cudgel just to vent frustration.
I have. It was obvious I was speaking to a newer hire, and he wasn't quite sure if he could help me or not. I didn't ask for the manager because I was mad at him, but because I knew it would keep the process moving.

All the time if service is poor, sometimes management is great at resolution, sometimes the manager is why there is poor service.
There are many a businesses who used to be swamped but now gone out of business due to this.
It is also fun to, to ask to speak to a manager when the only person you can ask is the problem person, who you suspect will not pass the message on.
I also have zero issues, doing a charge back on the credit card for any bad service, I do it dozens of times a year. There is a reason I use credit cards for most every purchase, as they have clauses that if you are not given the service or product you bought you don't have to pay for it.
I can go right online and file a dispute transaction, they will ALWAYS ask if I contacted the vendor first to try and correct the problem. Hence I do my due diligence there first and document all my attempts and what the result was.
Some people may say I'm a Karen, but whatever... I just expect reasonable good service. The kind I would give if I was them. I don't expecting something more than I would give. I am not a unreasonable jerk either.
No, I'm not one to complain at a place of business. Depending on what exactly went wrong, I probably just wouldn't go back.
I took your money heh 😏
Once when it messed up a casual evening to a Christmas symphony. And I was at this exclusive restaurant 2 hours before show with 10 minute ride to Show facility. Lose our order or whatever…
Not really now that I think about it. I don't get fussy over small things, but also being a manager myself I just know how it's like and how I can find a solution that works for everyone.
No. I would only if it were some really egregious thing that cost a lot and could not otherwise be rectified.
I have talked to the manager a few times in my life. Most times he/she has resolved the problem.
If I don't get the results I want I always ask to speak to the manager

I'm too scared to talk to anyone in public, let alone ask to speak to someone's manager lmao
No, I'm to shy for confrontation.
