Yes, at my previous employer. And yes, the guy did change his mind. On literally everything, from one week to the next. How he successfully managed to convince his boss to give him that job is a mystery that would land Sherlock Holmes in the looney bin.

He did eventually ask for my resignation. And yes, he even changed his mind on that, six months later, after everyone in my department had left, he had to do our jobs and his, and the place was actively falling apart. He eventually agreed to try to get me to come back, but there was no way I was going back to save him. By the time they started making actual serious moves to recruit me back though, I was too busy accepting a major promotion that paid $10,000 more than I was making when I left.

It was a social event both times , someone wrote an anonymous letter , it didn't go down well , they gave me a warning , what was on the page was not correct , " just sign it , it will be alright " ..
They got me at the 2nd event , claiming I was intoxicated , which I was not..
I was sacked , only role I've ever been sacked from since starting work at 16 years old.

It was all about other stuff really..
