How do you resist the urge of buying when you're planning to save and invest lots of money while staying motivated?

when I lived at my parents and at the expense of their income... I had it very easy to just spend money and not save or anything

once I left my parents shelter (not ENABLING though) then I had no choice but to be financially responsible

nowadays is just a habit, lol

Either give yourself a cut to spend or spend while investing buying gold
