Archaeologists have uncovered paintings deep inside the caves of Southern France (Lascaux) and Northern Spain (Alaimira). These painting showed primitive art that included a plain cross, like "+" only much bigger. Linguists have concluded that parts of this cross were named in a Cuneiform type script. On side appeared to be translated as "Assets" opposite that was a section labeled, "liabilities". It is believed that primitive man used this as a tool for predicting his/her future when liabilities were bigger assets they believed this was a bad omen and they should hoard their shells, wampum, etc. However, during times when that was reversed it seemed to be reason for a great feast.
A team of anthropologist hypothesized that they used these methods when trying to solve answers that seemed beyond them. I'm not sure if trhis helps but it seemed coincidental

If you're doing so in moderation, yes. You just have to budget. Sit down and look at your bills. Add up the essentials, then subtract that from your monthly income. Like, say you $2000 each month and your bills are $1200. That leaves you with $800. But you want to save, right? Figure out how much you want to save, then put that away in your savings account or however you want to do it.

Let's say you want to save $600 a month. That leaves you with $200 to spend on the things you want and you're still saving. Not enough to get all the things you want? Tough. You're going to have to either let some things go or find a way to increase your monthly income.

Yes of course. I take it you don’t have a budget planned? You don’t need to save hundreds every check. You’re much younger so you can save little at a time then build up to saving more once you get a better paying job or a raise. Most people get a rise they think k they need a bigger car or bigger house or apartment or more things they really don’t need. But it’s possible so long as you’re not spending thousands of dollars a month of things you want. Do you live alone? Pay your own rent? Car? Etc?

Yeah, it just requires some discipline. Knowing what you TRULY want vs. What you would just like to have. The more you save and invest and what h your nest egg grow the more and bigger stuff you can think about getting. And you might actually get to a point where when you really you can afford so much, you don't really even want anything.
