Literally I am working in a doctor's office where things like scanning you have to do it exactly as everyone else. Even if your way is better (more accurate, etc).
There is no room for growth or improvements, and it's ridiculous. Mostly this policy is there to keep the incompetent lead staff relevant.

Yes, my ass got greedy for money when this big coorporation offered me a job last year. The job is okay but the managment is terrible. Literally slavery and no care for employees, like kinda Japan shit. I'm waiting for my big, tasty yearly bonus in March, and then then I'm outta there! I don't ever want to work for a "big, famous" company. again. I would rather clean toilets and eat cockroaches. I am traumatized for life from the things I've seen.
If I find an easier way to do something, I'm going to do it the easier or better way. As long as the end result is the same, I don't understand why they're being so anal with their procedure
Essentially the lead staff who has been telling me this since I started it's not very good at the job. Training for one she's atrocious. So I think she created this mentality so that other better staff do not replace her.
I mean they've apparently gone through multiple staff before I started so obviously there's a problem and she's the problem
