Costco pays their people 30k base for stocking shelves. And their turnover rate flatlined, saving millions. I don’t know the internal costs but sometimes it pays to be nice.

Yes, I mean there is some of that in the sense that people can sort of learn to be manipulative but the people that do this are not very convincing at it. You need a born psychopath to really make a terrible situation.
