What's the ickiest job you ever done?

I used to work at a boy's boarding school as a cleaner, so dealt with laundry ie bedding and nightclothes,,, Also emptied bedroom bins, one time I forgot to put gloves on, reached into the bin to pick litter up and put my hand into a really big sticky mess, you can imagine what that mess was, goodness only knows how many loads were in there,,,

Actually on reflection the ickiest task I ever done was in my current job as a supermarket cleaner, poor chap's colostomy bag leaked and he was completely unaware of what happened,,,

The most ickiest job I have ever had is barning tobacco on a farm.. The tar and stink gets on your clothes, hands, and in your lungs. One coughs up black saliva and some over years are diagnosed with black lung. I a m so glad that crop died out and was replaced by corn and soybeans.

As for the ickiest job, that dubious distinction is tied between emptying the grease traps from the grills when I worked at McDonald's and gathering dirty laundry when I was in the Navy.

Periodic knee-deep hand-sorting, washing and re-bagging the sound potatoes from the decomposing, rotting potatoes for a major grocery chain.
The stench is remarkably unforgettable.
