Maternity leave and vacation?

Curious on others office policies… if employee is pregnant and taking 3 month maternity leave but only paid 6 weeks… does employee still get to take vacation days up until maternity leave and still take past their 6 weeks for maternity leave? Curious how others do this?

Here in Germany you got at least 14 weeks off, 6 before birth and 8 after. And you can still carry vacation days over to the next year.

And than you usually go into parental leave, up to 3 years.

Not sure. Here we get a year off depending where you work

Here you get 6 months paid leave.

WOW!!! Would be really nice… this is a very small company of 4 people… i don’t think that could ever happen…
