How do I stop coworkers from worrying unnecessarily about me?

I'm a shy introvert girl. My coworkers mentioned that they noticed how quiet I am at work and asked me if I'm ok. I told them that I'm ok, and I'm shy and I just don't speak much.

Then, they started saying that I'm just a snob and didn't got invited to any of their informal events. I just ignored them. Then, they learnt about an issue I had in the past and immediately stopped all rumors for a few days.

When I'm working I have a very serious look and so, they began saying that I might be depressed. I tried to tell them that it's important not to judge people. To make them stop saying that I'm depressed, I tried to smile more and now they are thinking that I might have suicidal feelings.

How do I let them know that I'm actually ok, and that I just want to work quietly without being judged? It's fine by me not to be included in their informal events.
