What should I do with my job? Are my coworkers mean to me?

I started my job as admin assistant (job order) in April and things seemed okay I thought until one of my superior (J) pmed me because she needed to talk to me. I went and she told me that someone in my job are saying Im slow to only one watcher and that Im saying things over and over again and that someone (that snitched) told my superior that she felt like I dont like them because I dont talk or join gossips. by the way in our office Im sharing table with admitting officers (regular) sometimes they are 4 or 5 people there group team helping each other while me only one who interviews at least 35 people or more in my 13 hour work shift. isn't unfair to report me to my superior? I mean sometimes the watcher in my front comes in group like Im the only one doing it sometimes the watcher asks too many questions and sometimes they will ask again what I said so I repeat what I said so I thought that might annoyed ( that snitched) that is only my problem I have to fix because my superior warned me that I have warning now and if that didn't change they will fire me. by the way I dont participate in gossips because me myself is also victim of that. One time Louise had wardrobe malfunction and one of my coworkers said her panties are showing and she said "I have an idol in office " in loud voice and Mika replied "I know her she has yellow underwear!" And they grinned like mean girls I thought its me because one time my yellow cycling showed and my coworker noticed it and it prolly became a gossip in our office that my underwear is showing. Also one time I was fixing my table connected to Mikas table like Im so OCD organizing things and Louise said to Mika "You should be careful you should not exceed the line in Sarahs (me) table" because our office table is very close and her chair is very near to me and Mika replied " She should be the one who should be scared of me!"in loud and angry tone and Louise replied " "You got period?"I thought its rude both of them

Because I didn't do anything to them. Im thinking snitched who snitched on me was Mika and Louise based on how they treat me they wouldn't hesitate to backstab and throw me under the bus.

Our office is like that picture its just table hence why Mika reacted when Louise said she shouldn't be crossing line our chairs are too close and our table is only one.

I wouldn't take what your boss said too personally - sounds like Mika just wanted to stir up trouble cause she's jealous or something. Don't let her dumb gossip bring you down.

Some offices can be so catty, it's ridiculous. You didn't do anything wrong, those snitches can suck it. If I was you, I'd start lookin for a new job away from those b*tches!

Til then, just keep your head up high. Don't join in their gossip either, cause that breeds more drama. Stay awesome doing your own thing. And if they wanna cross lines, you clock em with some attitude next time!

Yeah but since I got warning and that Im anytime about to get fired if Mika snitched me again on my superior I would lose my job and I will be broke but at the same time that would make me happy because if Im not there anymore I would stay away from them for good because they are not nice to me in that job.

I don't know what to do with my job my superior said I have another 3 months contract renewed next month but I have a warning that If I still didn't talk or join people talking or If Im still slow to talk to people like what the snitch said my contract won't be renewed.

But why does the fast interview necessary? It took me about 6 mos in this job meaning I can do it even in slower mode of work interviewing watcher some of them really dont know how to write forms so I write it for them that is making some of them wait but I want to help that person (watcher) who can't write a form. Also I like it because its all about swab and they are watchers of patients I have to interview them very well they might not be relative of patient and I let them in that would be a huge problem and I have to repeat intructions of swabbing before they enter because some of them even if I told them they will me again the swab instructions so I have to repeat it again maybe Mika is not happy of the way I handle watchers of patients

But really Oliver going to work is making me nervous now more that I enjoy it because of my warning. Like Im like Im a deer on headlights. Like constantly looking back on my shoulders. Like its making me overthink that anytime Mika will snitch me again.

I heard Mika once said she used to be so poor and that she only eats spaghetti every Christmas and that she can't even buy a nice bag when she was a student because of how poor they are. Like she can't afford fast food restaurants looking back she said that there's a big progress in her life.
Hearing that I thought Mika should be more humble and be nice like she came from poverty and should be more grateful and spread positivity I was just disappointed because of how she is now she's so arrogant because now that she's earning money now and can afford anything and has better position in the company. Maybe thats how some people. I just wish she stayed being humble from what shed experience before.

- You shouldn't have to put up with mean gossip and bullying at work. No one deserves that.

- But losing your job would also be bad if you need the money and insurance. Maybe try a few more things before quitting.

- Ask your boss J for specific feedback on how to improve. Like ways to interview faster if needed, without sacrificing accuracy. Then really focus on meeting those goals for the next few months.

- Also ask about switching tables if being near Mika makes the stress worse. Your health is important too.

- Don't join their gossip, but stay friendly with coworkers who are nice to you. Stick up for yourself if Mika/Louise start rumors again.

- As a last resort, start applying to new jobs now so if the worst happens, you have a backup plan. Try to save up some money too in case of an emergency.

I know it's so hard dealing with mean girls at work. But don't let them chase you away if you can help it. Hope things get better for you there. You deserve to feel respected. Hang in there!

2. Ugh girl, I totally get why you'd be nervous to go to work feeling like Mika is out to get you. That's so stressful! And wtf, she talks about how poor she used to be but acts like such a b*tch now? Some people really do change once they have a little money and power.

Here's what I would do - don't let her see you sweat! Act totally normal and professional at work. But also start applying for new jobs ASAP low key. That way if the worst happens, you have options.

Also maybe try bonding more with any coworkers who are nice to you. See if they'd back you up if Mika starts more drama. Strength in numbers! And document anything she does just in case.

Most importantly, remember this is HER problem, not yours. Don't lose sleep over a mean girl who peaked in high school. You keep being you - kind, hardworking. Her karma will come around, trust!

Yeah, terrible situation to be in. Just try to stay out of the gossip as much as you can but unfortunately it sounds like you have to be intertwined with everybody there. I would try looking for another job. Good luck.
