What are the most undergraduate majors in the labor market?

Most majors, in my opinion, are technical fields such as cyber security and others. Do you agree with me?

Where I am from, a LOT are in the fields that you are listing. There are a lot of tech related jobs/careers and therefore a lot of graduates that get degrees in those area. I do not know how many are cyber security specifically, but tech in general is a big field.

I know that it was when I was in school because it seemed that everyone was getting into that and engineering. I went a different direction. I work in healthcare. While I am not a doctor or nurse, I do work at a health practice.

I work on the business side of healthcare. Even when I was going through school, there was a lot of coursework related to tech/computers since that is important in just about any job these days. Just today, I took inventory which is done with a tablet and scanner for speed and efficiency.

Obviously, someone had to design and code that system we use. So, tech jobs really impact all areas of business. I would agree with your statement.

I heard around 16 years ago that psychology is the most common degree because its still considered a professional degree but its attainable by people who can't do stem properly. 18 years ago you only required a masters to work as a professional psychologist and now you need a PhD because there is so much competition for psychology jobs.

Computers, science/engineering coursework, start own Business as contractor via Fed Ex program, Accounting, and teaching internationally.

I know guys who took their philosophy and engineering focused minor like coursework can obtain an electrician and A/C credentials and make 250.00 hour and around 8000 for new A/C. And when they work as contractor at a significant sun market rate…I’ve written 30,000 check month. In round numbers 40,000-75,000 from a third of one’s client base as Contractor is a pretty good living. Good enough to buy oceanfront house and put two children through school…

One engineer science guy works for Pfizer and one for Halliburton. Oil and gas and Big PHARMA are best coverage and job longevity that one can find

Ys, mostly tech and healthcare. Accounting is making a comeback as well. Not so much Women's Studies or Gender Academics.
