Know that they are dropping someone with great potential, so it's their fault. Then move on to the next. There's always another job you can find that pays the same, usually.

You remind yourself of all the cons or negatives of said job... like bad management, messy or lazy coworkers, or an overall disdain of the job.

Unless you had the perfect job, remind yourself things could be a lot worse! And use this as a chance to start fresh and find a job that does want and appreciate you.

I've not been let go, but I have been denied a job at a company I interned at. I loved the job, but being a large company, they can't just hire as they please. I was upset at first.

Just know that you are great at what you do. It's their loss, you'll find something where you are truly appreciated.
