I just thought about this. If students pay for the tuition, that means they're paying their teachers which makes them technically their boss. But I'm not talking about pre school/elementary/middle school/high school students who have their parents pay for their tuition.

Well yes they are basically the boss, they pay teachers to boss them around and set them in a more disciplined way.
yet some teachers abuse their position
They won't if they realise what loss they can face with such actions. Also the students should stop fearing teachers more than necessary, they should realise that they have some rights as a student and human too. Just like teachers set some rules for students, students should set some valid boundaries for teachers too which if they don't follow will reduce their income. But yes, this is an issue in schooling aspect, teachers start abusing students when they don't deserve it for the sake of 'disciplining' them.
One problem is that education had always been required by our government in order to have more options for our career. It's just that not only the schools pay the teachers but the taxes as well which is what the government is taking advantage of.
I know right, a lot of things are messed up in schooling system.
Nope. Students pay the institution, not the teachers. And the students have to follow the rules set down, so...
The institution still can't pay the teachers if the students don't pay them. There are school rules sure but that doesn't change the hierarchy or the protocol actually. Students are technically the bosses who pays to get bossed around.
not really
