If the book actually works then why people tend to buy even more self help books to solve their problem?

Some people read those books as a way to get other perspectives and jog their minds to find new solutions.

I don't think I would say self help books are a scam, but I would say that there are a lot of scam artists in that space. It's sad, but a lot of scummy people like to exploit the hope of others.

Depends some sure are BS but others are good for specific cases
