Should I volunteer at 2 op shops?

I’m already volunteering at one and I overheard my boss mention the name of a very good man who runs two op shops in my local area. I’d like to get paid work in this field. Once I’ve been there a month, should I ask my boss if he wants extra volunteer workers and try to do 2 days at each store, for a reference and to try to get a job?

That makes sense and demonstrates a serious that translates into commuted and reliable employee. Any owner of small Business would be a fool to let one with this intent and planning skill to get away.

Thanks Ben. I hope they hire me. I really love taking care of people and everything about second hand stores. I’ve never felt so happy in a job before. It feels like home, dealing with the poor and the elderly in a cosy old store. I’m going to go for it.
