At my last job I was very quick maybe after a week after I started. Granted it was a grocery store so was pretty easy for me. But this place is a manufacturer company and im packing boxes. It’s somewhat like bagging at a grocery store but the items need to be perfect or very close to. So fast to me is too slow to the manager. But he seems to have confidence in me that I’ll be good. But I want to be very good asap because I don’t really have patience with myself sometimes so I just want to be better than everyone there. So what tips do you have, tips that helped you in your career to get very quick?

Improving speed at work can take time and practice, but here are some tips that may help:
1. Focus on quality: While it's important to work quickly, it's also important to prioritize quality. Take the time to ensure that the items you are packing are accurate and of high quality, as this can help prevent mistakes and rework later on.
2. Use time-saving techniques: Look for ways to streamline your work process and reduce unnecessary steps. This may include using tools or equipment that can help speed up the process, or organizing your work area to minimize the need for movement or searching for items.
3. Practice, practice, practice: The more you practice, the more efficient you'll become. Look for opportunities to practice your skills, such as during downtime or breaks, and ask for feedback from your supervisor or colleagues.
4. Set goals: Set achievable goals for yourself, such as packing a certain number of boxes within a certain timeframe. This can help motivate you and track your progress over time.
5. Take care of yourself: It's important to take care of your physical and mental wellbeing to ensure that you can work efficiently and effectively. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, and staying hydrated, and take breaks as needed to prevent burnout.
Remember that improving speed takes time and practice, so be patient and keep working at it. Good luck!
Normal I would say anything more then that it's overworking and being not paid enough.
We humans ain't machines which can increase the speed with no cost what's so ever.
Depends on your thoughts either you become a workhorse destined to overburn or follow what's written on your contract.
Do you want to do another person job and still get the same amount or be that person everyone hates? Sometimes being better isn't always the right choice. I'd say with experience you can achieve what you are looking for and for that you need time to learn the ropes. So give yourself time to learn. No one likes try hards.
Thanks and I’ll just go my definition of fast. Because the other day I tried to keep up with the machine and go extremely fast and I miscounted the entire case and me and a few others had to recount it. So definitely not worth it if it’s going to cause about an hour worth of fixing
