This is only a thing in species that are hermaphrodites, but that doesn't count in my opinion because they are also female.

If you can produce eggs, you're female, if you can produce sperm, you're male. If you can do both, you're both, but you cannot be just male and produce eggs.

There are no true hermaphrodites, save for in certain worms.. In higher life forms, if they are hermaphrodites, they are non functional either being sterile, or only one set of genitals functioning.

I'm sure he did too. There is a kind of flat worm (lives in the ocean) that will actually fight with another of its kind to see who will actually be female. The loser is the one that gets fucked for lack of better terms.

Snails and slugs, for example, are true hermaphrodite animals, there are quite a few others as well, but I cannot think of them off the top of my head. Its more common in invertebrates, but is also present in some fish, amphibians, and reptiles.

Again however, to me that does not count, because it's the female organs in hermaphrodites that produce the eggs, not the male ones.
