I really want to learn Bengali it just looks and sound soo cool š
Iāve been studying Japanese since last Sept. I really like it, and have learned all of the hiragana characters, and now the katakana characters. The thing is, Iām having a hard time with the particles, and you have to know which one to use after certain words. Itāll take me years to become better able to speak. My pronunciation is good though, according to the teacher. Itās a phonetic lang and easy for me to say the words.
Im fluent in Spanish and I speak a little French, and I can understand all the Romance languages.00 Reply

I am American so of course I know English, i had Spanish in high-school and college but don't remember enough to say I know it. I don't really have a desire to learn a language. Besides I can learn a second language fluently anyway.

@J3LueMooN Itās ancient Arabic, similar to Hebrew, so no wonder I understood some words (fÄ«l, mÄlik, bismillÄh, rahmÄn, dÄ«n, huwa, lÄ, sÄmÄwÄt, layla, rabb, ahad, etc). Türkish is a Turkic language, not related to the Semitic languages, such as Hebrew, Aramaic, or Amharic. Maybe some Türkish words got there from Arabic?
