I have one now that I can't stand! She's a twit that is incompetent yet can't be fired. Thankfully everyone sees how bad she is, so she's treated accordingly.

At one of my past jobs, it got so bad there were days I hated coming to work because I was miserable! A boss that showed blatant favoritism, racism, cussed like a sailor, and was incompetent-

I left because toxic people and environments like that aren't good for you- mentally or emotionally. I know that's not always possible to just up and leave a bad job, especially if you can't find another one...

Keep looking. Look until you find something better, then get out of there.
