Point out that pride is a deadly sin and that demanding I celebrate it, when it has nothing to do with my job or even what the company does, is an infringement of my religious rights.

In point of fact, I simply don't like getting political for no good reason, and since homosexuality has been under threat in this country for decades, it's not about pride any more; it's about LUST (if the company wants to make me wear lust-promoting apparel, I will applaud their honesty and then point out that lust, too, is a deadly sin). If I lived in Iran, okay, THEN it would be pride. But not in Florida.

On top of that, it's just bad business to get political in a way that risks alienating customers for no benefit, and I have a hatred of bullies that borders on the fanatical. It wouldn't end well for anyone involved.

I'd wear a green shirt with white lettering on it, that simply reads: "Philippians 3:19."

I'd decorate my walls with cases documenting the most heinous crimes of LGBTQPIZON personnel, of political corruption involved in some of them being denied the prison time or death penalties due unto them, and a picture of Honkler. As well as a sticker reading: #LetThemShriek

When asked, I'd say: "It's relevant to the month."

If they then say: "That's not the right kind of relevant," I'd say: "You can't have fair representation, until you're willing to address both sides. I'm addressing this side, since the rest of you are too scared to."

I'd then go out and buy a gun or what-not. Because not only would I probably get fired; but I'd have to worry about angry mobs trying to break into my home in pursuit of retribution for the fact that I refused to bow down to their wicked false idols.

Hope somebody sued them. Coercion at work? The only demand a workplace can make on an employee is to show up and do their work. No one can be forced to participate in a political/social stance their workplace chooses to adhere to. You can't force acceptance. You CAN force equitable behavior. But you can't force participation in a company's political and social EVENTS.

AT SE grocers. they offered a rainbow pride shirt you could wear as part of your regular uniform IF YOU SO CHOSE. And on the website they mentioned pride month etc. But no one was forced to wear said shirt or to buy it OR to participate in pride month. I did because it was important to me.

Starbucks was wrong. You can offer options of participation. But no coercion. That's against the EEOC and a host of other laws.

I would refuse to comply. I'd tell them that it's illegal for force employees to comply with the company leadership's politics. And it wasn't part of the contract I signed when they hired me. If they fire me, they can expect to see me in court because I'll be suing for financial damages as well as trauma and mental anguish.

As a tactical decision, I would refrain from going into the CEO's office and telling them that they can wear a rainbow wig while sucking my dick.
