It hasn't helped me very much in the past. Sure, I've been given more trust in various jobs and a bit more respect but, it's never advanced me much in the hierarchy of the company!! I was at the print shop for 11 years and I was still mostly doing the exact same jobs as when I started! Other than being in the band for 25 years, that's the longest-standing job I've ever had!!
