How many failed their driver's permit test the first time?

I'll be getting my driver's permit, but am super nervous for the test. What's been your experience with studying. Has anyone failed once, or multiple times before passing? I'm lacking in confidence right now. 😔

i don't know how it works where you live but i passed my theory (2 sections, multiple choice went really well then for hazard perception i just managed to pass) then for my actual driving test i passed with 2 minors but i did 3 practice tests before that and failed all of them, so i didn't really go into the actual test with high hopes - just watch your speed and the road, keep your eyes peeled and listen to your examiner, practice a lot especially for the things you're not sure about - people learn and cope in different ways so whatever helps you gain confidence

Is someone helping you or teaching you how to drive? Is there something specific you need to work on? I know that, when I first started driving, I was petrified of driving on the highway. However, with time and practice, it’s a piece of cake now. Same with you. The more you drive, the more comfortable you’ll be. 😊

My dad will be teaching me. He's more patient and won't freak out if I get too close to the edge! Lol
I'm just nervous to take the permit test. In Oklahoma, there isn't a real test to take beforehand. Just a bunch of test that other websites put together based on the really thing. I'm afraid to fail, but everyone fails at one time or another, I'm just trying to build my confidence.

No, I passed first time. Don't stress over it. You'll do great. The only thing I almost failed was the driving test where I forgot to keep my head turned looking back while backing up. The written questions aren't hard though.

I passed my permit test the first time, but for my license I had to take the test 3 times to pass 😅
