I try not to because it is really the fault of a liberal public school system where mediocrity is celebrated
Typos can happen, especially when using a phone. So I'm not a grammar nazi, although, someone who can't express a cogent thought won't get an MHO.
That being said, I have more respect for a person who knows the difference between there, their and they're, and knows how to punctuate.
Someone whose intellect I admire is Vivant, but her comments usually need to be deciphered because I think she dictates them into her phone or something, and spell check makes a mess of her words. I don't hold that against her one bit.
I also appreciate wit and a sense of humor.

No, I don't. My keyboard has taught me not to judge other users based on their spelling and grammar.
In fact, I just had to correct "they" to "their" and delete a floating letter C.
I agree with you about the school system. I had a conversation with a HS English teacher who was explaining to me that the ability to spell words is something we're born with and can't be taught.
No, I don’t. An insightful or helpful answer is more important than whether or not it has perfect spelling and grammar.

I have to GaG on my cellphone 📱. It limits things I can do on it. But for some reason my auto-correct needs to go back to highschool spelling and grammar classes because it changes perfectly spelled words, such as love to like. That can make a big difference in a text!
If I can't understand their answer I do. If it doesn't make any sense to my question, I don't even consider it. Just for spelling and punctuation, no
If it makes sense to me the asker of many questions and my mood
I don't do this but not for the reasons you mentioned
I don't mind typos in someone's post, but obvious blatant errors in spelling and grammar usually get a deduction.
Not as a rule... Usually goes on depth and thought of the response.
Nope. The thought behind the answer matters more.
If you tolerate the mediocrity, it will continue.
