I’m struggling to find a job in my field what should I do?

I’m working full time in a warehouse job but I’m finding it difficult to get time off to attend these interviews. But if I go part time I could never afford to live and I also can’t claim financial assistance help from the government because I live with my boyfriend even though I’m not married as it could reduce the amount I get. I feel like it’s not an easy situation and how do I ever get a real job then

It may be possible to explain your circumstance to a potential employer , as in , try and set some appointments for after hours , present it as a positive , shows you are diligent , when I was putting people on , I was always very happy with the ones who made appointments outside of hours. One of the best I ever employed , made a really late appointment , the moment we met her , we knew she was the one , and she worked there 15 years , well worth it.

Think laterally , make sure all you other stuff is up to date , Linked - in , Spoken resume on you tube , do things that are different , don't just follow others. Outside the square stuff.

Yes but most places close at 5pm here and don’t work at the weekends how can I make the interview after hours

Again , they WILL make time after hours if they think you are worth the time , express all of the above to them , and it will separate you from the pack , its negative to a positive stuff.

That can be tough.
One would think that companies would conduct interviews at night for just such a reason.
Not knowing your field there are head hunters that might be able to help.
They get paid to find people for companies to fill open spots.
One of my cousins did that for years and was very good at her job.
She placed a crap ton of people before she retired.

My friends just say to get my boyfriend to help but it’s not always easy as that some people just live in dream land I’ve never had a guy pay me for or help

This might help, but it isn't the best solution but get yet another job, part time and it would provide a bit more income.
Does your boyfriend at least split the costs with you?
Hopefully he isn't expecting you to pay for everything.

Just tell your supervisor. Are you afraid that you’ll be fired if they know you’re actively looking for other work and have interviews?

What happens if I take 20 job interviews to get a job no way I’ll get that time off. Next week I’ve been selected for jury duty and off on a family trip that was planned a long time ago

To not overwhelm yourself, narrow it down to the jobs you’re REALLY interested in. You don’t have to go to all 20. Again, speak with your supervisor about it.

No he works as an engineer and we live together but I don’t get any help from him

He does pay rent but his half and I’ve been paying my half

If the guy makes a lot more money than you, he should help you out with the rent so you can find a new job. If he hasn't volunteered to do this then he is a cheapskate bastard and you should leave him
