What are some important skills to be a hostess of an event?

Apart from yesterday’s grand ceremony.

Today, I host one more smaller ceremony at a new workplace.

I wonder why they keep choosing me, both in Suzhou and Shanghai.

That being said, it’s not something I am crazy about.

I like being on stage, but not as a hostess of a ceremony,

I liked to be on stage for public speaking,

I loved to be on stage for dancing, oh how I loved it!!!

But being a hostess of a ceremony is not something I ever thought of doing or enjoying.

So, it kinda makes me wonder -

What do they want 😂 Why choose me.

Also, is it called host or anchor? When you just do the presentation on a stage?

Conversational surely, but the ability to see if anyone needs help socializing. As a host I like to know enough about my guests that I can use something about them to spur conversation if someone needs help, pairing people with similar interests if possible, that sort of thing
