What skill set is most important in a wife to you?

These are some pretty great selections! I think homemaker would be the one I lean to the most. If I could come home to a warm, sweet smiling face behind which has a bright kind heart then no matter how hard or difficult my day might have been I know I could always face it again and again and would do anything to protect her smile and happiness. Because she is doing so much for me and our children. I know their future is in incredible hands and she is the strongest person I know.

But, the other choices are great qualities too! An artistic wife would be an interesting experience her violin playing would certainly put the soul at ease and if she could teach me to dance and we both look great doing it XD then look out other couples! Kids would be raised on classical music and exposed to great artwork.

A fitness wife would be nice too not only would she be in great shape but she would certainly be a great gym partner so I can stay in shape and motivated. Would know all kinds of great outdoor spots too for hiking, swimming etc. We would have great trips as a family I imagine and give the kids a great interest in sports.

A gamer wife would be really great too! We could play fun video games and watch anime together sharing which ones that hold a special place in our hearts that we grew up with holding each other close. We could share these with our kids too and enjoy new ones together. Plus she likes to cosplay! Cons we go to will be fun and she would cosplay some extra special characters for those special occasions when the kids are out of the house XD

An intellectual wife would be nice too! I bet we could share our love for our favorite books and she can talk about such a wide variety of topics too I bet; lots of late night conversations burning the midnight oil. She would foster our children's creative intelligence and raise them to help untap their potentials. I like to think she works hard and is serious when doing her job but at the same time gets easily embarrassed whenever I am playful or tease her!

But, very nice question it was fun answering :D life is complicated so each skill set has its positives finding that special lady to share your life with having a combination of some of these skills I think what many would love to find.

She has to have a beautiful heart she has to be able to speak with her eyes without saying one word if something happens and she doesn't like the person she didn't hold back and not make a scene she doesn't talk about other people to make herself look better she must be very passionate loving she must be a very good driver she must be smart she must be intelligent she must be a nerd she must be able to laugh at herself she must be honest she must be passionate and she must have a heart of gold did I say that she has to be happy and has to smile and she must be a very good lover

I’m a mix of Arts, Fitness and Intellectual. I think everyone should know basic life skills like cooking, cleaning etc. only then will they be truly independent regardless of gender.

I’m working towards getting into medical school, even if I don’t get in, I will go into biomedical research and work towards my PhD. I hope I do though.. I’ve been preparing for over 3 years now. I would like my partner and I to spend as much time with our kids as possible. It is important for a healthy relationship between parents and kids. I’m not a gamer girl, but I will understand if my partner wants to game in their free time. That is their hobby and it would be dense of me to deny even that. I will try to learn to play video games if I really like that person, but if they send too much time on video games and avoid doing things or spending at least some quality time with me, that would pose a problem.

I do like to do gardening, but I’m not the traditional 50s housewife. My parents have appointed a housekeeper and a cook to keep our house clean and cook meals. I will do the same when I grow up. However, if I will cook during the weekends.

In my home school home, economics course, I'm learning sewing and cooking and I get extra credit when I babysit. Also, even if my parents don't use it part of my course is making a budgit for our family. When I get married, cleaning, cooking, sewing, baby and child care, and managing household finances will be my responsibility as a wife. Working and earning extra money, when time permits, may be important too; just not primary. I will look for a husband that has a good income, or the potential if in college. And, a husband that wants to be a good provider and values a wife with these characterists.

While having that connection is most important, I chose Gamer girl despite the description being a bit over the top. I prefer someone who understands that I play games to relax and that they enjoy them enough to play with me, be it video games, board games or just sports. It doesn't matter if they are into roleplaying, are competitive gamers or just like the idea of game theory, liking games is a good place to start.

What I find attractive, is having passion. It can be for arts, crafts or sciences. I value companionship, and having common ground is much better than constantly arguing because our values differ on the important issues.

Group C is nice until it gets taken to an extreme. Same with all of them I guess, but this one would probably get annoying the soonest. There's a very big difference between like an obsessive gym rat or a rabid sports fan, as opposed to someone who is active and health conscious.

A is probably the least, but conflating "well traveled" is a bit odd for that group. A woman who likes to travel would definitely be a plus, but I'd still say this is overall the weakest group.

Other than those two, I'd consider them all icing on the cake, not something that would likely make or break the relationship on their own. Home economics skills are always a solid set to have, but I personally tend to get along with the (talkative) geeks, nerds, and world travelers the best.

I voted homemaker, but the ability to ignore/reject feminist propaganda would be nice. I've yet to find one who can resist it. Women are just kinda too malleable in general, and in a modern West where anti-traditional influences are culturally dominant, it basically makes trusting a woman basically impossible.

Homemaking skills are hugely underated these days. A clean home is great for mental wellbeing, and cooking is good for both health and saving money.

Ideally I'd like a woman who's good at those traditional things, and still would like to work outside of the home for the betterment of the family.

When kids are really young though, full time housewife would be great.

Someone who thinks freely for themself. Who doesn't just believe what she's been told and questions it. Someone who will decide for herself based on information available. Even if I don't agree, as long she decided for herself.

What I like in a wife doesn't fit in just one of the above categories but over multiple, Kind caring, good cook, outdoorsy, gardener, adventurous, family oriented, wants kids, plays dress up but doesn't mind getting her hands dirty or "breaking a nail" is very nurturing.

My mom is a good artist, that's what she does for a living. She works from home, so she tries to take care of the house as much as possible. She just won't really cook. She'll help, but he does most of it. She also has a part time job at a chocolate store

This was a hard choice as every one of these skills is very attractive to me. However, it came down to homemaker or fitness. The fitness girl won out very slightly over the homemaker because I can learn homemaking skills. I am knowledgeable in fitness but I do have a hard time staying motivated. I actually would prefer my wife to be equally or more athletic than me so she can be my guide and help with my motivation in the gym.

Besides that I also like B and E while hating hair-cuts so I wouldn't want my wife to do them.

There is no one skillset. A wife should have several skills, as should her husband. Ideally, her skills should complement her husbands skills so that, as a couple, they can handle just about anything.

I am gonna have a Ph. D. in theoretical physics soon so either 1 or 4. I already sew, cook, clean, do gardening, watch anime, play games and play violin and guitar. The more intelligent a girl is she will likely be the same. However, I don't think most physicists are knowledgeable about gene therapy that much.

A mix of those.  Cooking, cleaning, gaming, and is into sporty fitness activities like riding bikes, hiking, etc. and dresses in sporty athletic clothes the majority of the time.

None of these "skill sets" are "most important" in a wife. A 'good wife' would be an excellent communicator and love her spouse. And he would be same. Together, they can overcome any life challenge.
