Do you mean starting a landscaping business? I think it has potential to be a good long term business. Good landscapers that do the job right are a good commodity.

A friend of mine is a landscaper and is quite successful with it. He enjoys working outdoors and it's a good mix of creative and physical work for him.

Consider seasons and whether you'll need to find additional work to support your off-season.

Also consider how you're going to maintain your physical well-being, since your body is your tool for work.

Upside is technology is not going to make it outdated and it can't be done from China and imported. So they are two big pluses.

However I think a garden landscaper is mostly going to be doing gardening with little scaping and consequently not well paid plus you will compete with immigrants tat are unskilled.
