Should unemployed people be paid more to work?

In certain countries the government will pay you more unemployment benefits if you get a job. In certain countries your unemployment benefits rise largely if you get a 6 month job. The government pays this not the employer. This is to encourage people to work and get experience.

If you have no experience it can be difficult to get your first intern/job.

I'm confused, why should people receive unemployment benefits - if they have a job? As soon as someone accepts a job - they're no longer unemployed and should therefore get no benefits for unemployed.

makes companies want to hire people and give them experience. Thats how my friend got a job. However the disadvantage is companies use to to get cheap labour.

That's.. if my tax money went to unemployment benefits for employed people - I'd not be happy. I'm just mind blown that people accept that.

When I was unemployed I was one of these people that you may have read about that made more money collecting unemployment. I was offered a job but did not take it because I would end up losing money. I went back to work once my benefits ran out.
