What's the best reason to be independent, and what's the best reason NOT to be independent?

Dependence = Security

It basically comes down to do you want to roll solo and be responsible for yourself, or roll as a team and have someone there for you when you're having trouble?

Though the issue is, sometimes people bail when the going gets rough.

Control Direction People who want to be independent, want to be in control of their own life But, people who are not independent, tend to not have a direction in life, and can often be very lazy

Best thing is, you know you a capable of handling. You don’t get disappointed in someone for not holding up to their end cause you only depend on yourself. Worst thing is, when something breaks and you have to watch YouTube videos to figure out how to fix it yourself 😂

Best reason to be independent is not to have to rely on other people to pay the bills. Best reason not to be independent to have companionship. Though I wouldn't mind keeping my job and having a companion.

You don't have to rely on anyone else. When you succeed, you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you did it all on your own.
