Just curious
Did you have a job while you were a teenager?
Just curious
well i have a summer job. this summer i worked as a bartender in a restaurant.
Nope but I wish I had. Could have saved up for a car.
In hindsight though, you wouldn't have had nearly as much free time or spare time or had as much quality time at home with family. Or friends. There's all adulthood to work work work until ones exhausted lol. I'm very happy I didn't get a job until after I was graduated from high school. No I never went to university as such. Lol. πππ
That's very true. I wouldn't have had any free time or quality time with the family.
Or friends. π and I often think the only pro's are to that early working life is saving money right like you said. However I've personally seen and personally known people not quite friends yet people who they dont stop at a car or even another car to replace that one, they're what society needs as much as slackers, they're go-getters. They're studying for uni or college, they want aspiration and they are aspiration. Lol. And I sometimes think they're also too pushy or in a rush. Lol sucks to be them. Society need them, I am glad I am not them π and think this Simslover92: where would they find the time for love and sex if they're constantly working and studying and or working to pay off things like cars or just plain workaholics lol. They sure start earlier now workaholics ahahaha π I sound like a veteran beyond my time and years and perplexed and amused π

I didn't get a job until I was 19. Ironically, I did average to poorly in school and sometimes I do think even if I had the lifestyle where I was pushed to get a job early I am glad I didn't have that pushy upbringing. I got a job after high school when I was good, ready and graduated. One time some smug guy lectured me at 19 who ran a small business and I later told my folks what he said lol, and we took no notice of his lecture of *oh I should've had a job as soon as I could legally at like 15 a job or whatever* lol. Meanwhile, I'm very happy how my life jobs have been. 🙃😛🫣 Time is precious and I'm glad I never lost my teenage years to work work work mush mush mush, whip whip whip 👋🏻👌🏻
Yes from 14-22. I worked as a pool cleaner & gardener. At weekends & summer & after school, college at my uncle's company. We went around doing jobs for some very wealthy homes.
If I ever get married & have daughters I will never hire help to come into my home to do anything. I spent a lot of time f*cking a lot of bored housewives & daughters, even maids and nannies.
On a summer off from college at one home I got with a guy's 2nd wife and his two step daughters ages 15 & 17 as well as the nanny that the guy was also sticking it too. These women they stayed about the pool sunbathing while I mowed the law cooking in their own juices while I worked with my topless.
Yes, a few. Selling grandma's Christmas and Easter candy, cutting grass, baby sitting, working for my local borough, and at the biggest dept. store around, the borough of a town about 5 miles from my house, at a beauty parlour my grandfather's girlfriend's daughter owned, and probably a few other places I just don't recall, at the moment.
I worked part time in a store in high school. I mowed lawns and shoveled snow. I sold newspapers in the town square. I graduated high school at 17 and soon after got my first full time job. Then a year and a half later I did construction work.
Yeah, I went to school & they paid me in overcooked lunch & random useless facts about the world 🤣
I started working full time in an office as soon as I turned 16.
Yeah most of my summer teen years were spent working at the local amusement park. It was like a rite of passage where I grew up. All the teens worked there. Because it was seasonal they could get away with paying less than minimum wage.😂
I was sous chef between 16 and 17 but self employed since the age of 8
unless online survey tester counts then no
@exitseven no
I had a summer job as a painter.
No, βI wasnβt allowedβ.
In hindsight I'm glad I didn't have pushy parents pushing me to get a job lol. I got one after high school and merrily I've enjoyed that I didn't rush my teenage years π«£π family time matters to me more and still does. To others I think, good for them or forget them lol π
I had an income, or two... lol
yeah. the classic paper boy.
